Sepahan Battery Industrial Complex (SBIC) was established in 1999. Over the years, using state-of-the-art equipment and first-class raw material have enabled us to produce lead-acid batteries with the highest quality for automotive applications in accordance with European, Japanese and, North American standards. 

Our manufacturing equipment is mostly fully automated, made by the most renowned European suppliers of battery manufacturing equipment. SBIC uses ERP to organize information, which consequently results in a great reduction of costs and human errors. On the other hand, the dream of production without inventories (JIT) has been realized.

Since 2006, our highly skilled engineers, with developed technical capabilities, have been able to design and manufacture all types of batteries for OEM and after-market applications. Now, SBIC manufactures batteries with the newest technologies such as EFB, UPS, and Solar batteries with Gel technology.

As the most high-tech enterprise in automotive battery manufacturing of Iran, now, our annual production capacity is five million batteries, and we plan to increase it, introducing a number of capacity alignment activities.
